On October 4, 1916 Ginzburg Vitaly Lazarevich was born. This is a Soviet and Russian physicist-theorist, a doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor, an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a Nobel Prize laureate in physics (2003). Ginzburg was born in 1916 in Moscow in family of an engineer, he lost mother in early ages. Till 11 years he had a house education under the leadership of his father. He finished physical faculty of Moscow State University, finished postgraduate study and made master's degree. Vitaly was going to be a volunteer at the front twice, however he wasn't taken there. His main works are about distribution of radio waves, astrophysics, an origin of space beams, Vavilov-Cherenkov radiation, physics of plasma, crystal optics, etc. He was an author of about 400 scientific articles and about 10 monographs in theoretical physics, radio astronomy and physics of space beams. He developed the theory of a magnetobrake space radio emission and the radio-astronomical theory of an origin of space beams.
