Ввод в эксплуатацию станции "Мир"

20 февраля 1986 года была выведена на околоземную орбиту и введена в эксплуатацию долговременная космическая станция "Мир". Эта станция сменила орбитальную станцию "Салют". Эта научно-исследовательская пилотируемая станция функционировала 15 лет. Она была предназначена для экипажа из 6 космонавтов.

On February 20, 1986 the long-term space station "Mir" was put to Earth orbit and put into operation. This station replaced the Salute space station. This research piloted station functioned for 15 years. It was intended for 6 astronauts crew.

Из расплавленного песка делают стекло. При этом песок плавится при температуре тысяча семьсот градусов. Однако если к песку добавить обычной соды, то температура его плавления понижается до семисот градусов Цельсия.
