Irkutsk is the ancient Siberian city founded as a fortress in 1661. The settlements and burial grounds related to stone, bronze and iron centuries are found on both coast of Angara. In the territory of modern Irkutsk people lived 50 000 years ago. Annually in the city takes place the tourist Baikal exhibition. The architectural and ethnographic "Taltsi Museum" is located near city.
