Международный день КВН
Ежегодно 8 ноября в странах бывшего СССР празднуют Международный день КВН. Это неофициальный праздник тех, кто участвует в Клубе Весёлых и Находчивых. 8 ноября 1961 года в эфир вышла первая игра Клуба Весёлых и Находчивых. В то время еще никто не мог предположить, что эта передача станет самой популярной на советском и российском телевидении и обретёт международный статус. Сорок лет спустя, в 2001 году, бессменный (с 1964 года) ведущий и президент Клуба Весёлых и Находчивых Александр Васильевич Масляков предложил отмечать день первого телеэфира КВН, как «Международный день КВН».
Annually on November 8 in the countries of the former USSR people celebrate the International day of CFI. It is an informal holiday of those who participates in Club of the Funny and Inventive. On November 8, 1961 the first game of CFI took place on TV. That time still nobody could assume that this TV-show would become the most popular on the Soviet and Russian television and would get the international status. Forty years later, in 2001, leader and the president of Club of the Funny and Inventive Alexander Vasilyevich Maslyakov suggested to celebrate day of the first game of KVN as "The international day of CFI".
