Китайская вишня
Родиной китайской вишни является Китай, Корея и Монголия, где она произрастает в диком виде. Однако, как культура, она получила широкое распространение с середины XX века в садах умеренного пояса Европы и Северной Америки. По вкусу китайская вишня не уступает обычной вишне. Ее плоды содержат большое количество сахаров (8—10 %), в основном глюкозы и фруктозы, а также яблочную и лимонную кислоту (0,8—1,2 %), витамин С (16—32 мг%), пектины и дубильные вещества. Листья китайской вишни используют для заваривания витаминного чая.
The homeland of the Chinese cherry is China, Korea and Mongolia where it grows in a wild form. However, as a culture, it was widely adopted from the middle of the XX century in gardens of a temperate of Europe and North America. Chinese's cherry taste doesn't concede to a usual cherry. Its fruits contain a lot of sugars (8 — 10%), generally glucose and fructose, and also apple and lemon acid (0,8 — 1,2%), vitamin C (16 — 32 mg of %), pectins and tannins. Leaves of the Chinese cherry are used for preparing of vitamin tea.
