Strong aroma of fruits of tangerine distinguishes it from other citrus, and its pulp is usually more sweet than pulp of an orange. The homeland of tangerine is considered China though its name is borrowed from Spanish. On the territory of the former USSR tangerines grow up in Transcaucasia, in Abkhazia and near Sochi. The pulp of tangerine contains sugar, organic acids, vitamins and phytoncides. Tangerines are the valuable dietary product increasing appetite, improving metabolic processes and saturate the body with vitamins in winter.
