Первый человек на Южном полюсе
On December 14, 1911 the first person in the history reached the South Pole. It was a Norwegian traveler Rual Amundsen. Rual is known around the world thanks to his record travels. He was the first who visited both geographical poles of the planet. Rual Admundson took part in many polar and Arctic expeditions. He was lost in 1928 during searches of the gone Humberto Nobile's expedition. Since 15 — 16-year age Amundsen introduced for himself the Spartan regime of life: a strict diet, physical exercises, a sleep in the open air even in the winter, regular ski trips during the period from November to April. By own words, Amundsen never loved soccer, but regularly played this game, "to coach the body and to accustom it to endurance".
