Ипподром - комплекс сооружений для испытаний лошадей и соревнований по конному спорту. Прототипом современных ипподромов являются древнегреческие ипподромы. Также на ипподромах проводят выставки лошадей. Крупные ипподромы оснащены современными техническими средствами, позволяющими получать полную и точную информацию о ходе испытаний, а также электронное табло с информацией для зрителей. В России есть восемь крупных действующих ипподромов.
