23 февраля 1958 года в Москве на Поклонной горе был заложен памятник Победы. В этот день на месте памятника был установлен гранитный знак с надписью: «Здесь будет сооружен памятник Победы советского народа в Великой Отечественной войне 1941–1945 годов». Вокруг памятника был заложен парк Победы.
On February 23, 1958 in Moscow on Poklonnaya Gora the Victory monument was put. This day on a place of a monument the granite sign with an inscription was established: "Here the monument of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 will be built". Round a monument Victory park was created.
