6 ноября 1974 года родился Тон Константин Андреевич. Это русский архитектор, разработавший так называемый «русско-византийский стиль» храмового зодчества, который получил широкое распространение в правление благоволившего ему Николая I. Среди наиболее известных построек — храм Христа Спасителя и Большой Кремлёвский дворец. К тому же, он был тайным советником и ректором Императорской Академии художеств. Константин Тон родился в Санкт-Петербурге в семье немецкого ювелира. У него было два брата, которые тоже стали архитекторами. Как и многие архитекторы в то время, Константин Тон стажировался за границей. Он 6 лет прожил в Италии, практиковался в Париже, а затем вернулся на родину.

This is a Russian architect who developed so-called "the Russian-Byzantine style" of temple architecture which was widely adopted in board of Nicholas I who had a kind feeling to it. Among the most known constructions are the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and Grand Kremlin Palace. Besides, he was the privy councilor and the rector of Imperial Academy of Arts. Konstantin Ton was born in St. Petersburg in a family of the German jeweler. He had two brothers who either became architects. As well as many architects at that time, Konstantin Ton trained abroad. He lived 6 years in Italy, practiced in Paris, and then returned home.
