Tibetan mastiff is one of the most ancient working breeds of dog which has been made in Tibet for protection of monasteries. Besides, it helped nomads in the Himalayas. This breed has always been surrounded with myths and legends. The first dog of this breed appeared in Europe in 1847. It was presented as a gift to the Queen Victoria.
