Чайот съедобный - это съедобное тыквенное растение. Главным поставщиком чайота является республика Коста-Рика. Все части чайота можно есть в тушёном виде, но чаще всего в пищу используются недозрелые плоды, которые варят, тушат, запекают, фаршируют или добавляют сырыми в салаты. Он может использоваться в виде чая при лечении многих болезней.

Chayote is edible pumpkin plant. The chief supplier of chayot is the Republic of Costa Rica. All parts of Chayote can be eaten stewed, but most often immature fruits are used in food which are cooked, stew, baked, stuffed or added crude to salads. Vegetable and its seeds are rich with amino acids and vitamin C. It can be used as a tea for treatment of many deseases.

Туманность Пеликана, известная также под обозначением IC 5070, является большой эмиссионной галактической туманностью. Она расположена в созвездии Лебедя. Астрономы постоянно наблюдают за этой туманностью, поскольку в ней происходят очень активные процессы формирования новых звезд и одновременно высвобождения газа.

Pelikan nebula also known under designation of IC 5070, is a big emission galactic nebula. It is located in Cygnus constellation. Astronomers constantly watch this nabula because there are very active formations of new stars and at the same time gas release in it.

Компас - это устройство, облегчающее ориентирование на местности при помощи магнитной стрелки. Сегодня в мире существует несколько разных видов компасов: магнитный, астрономический, радиокомпас, спутниковый компас и другие. Первый в мире компас был изобретен в Китае для указания направления движения в пустыне. В Европе изобретение компаса относят к XII—XIII векам, однако устройство его оставалось очень простым — магнитная стрелка, укреплённая на пробке, была опущена в сосуд с водой.

The compass is a device facilitating orientation on the territory with help of magnetic pointer. Nowdays in the world there are several different types of compasses: magnetic, astronomical, radio compass, satellite compass and others. The first-ever compass has been invented in China for indication of direction in the desert. In Europe the invention of the compass was carried to the XII—XIII centuries, however this device remained very simple — the magnetic needle strengthened on a stopper has been lowered in a vessel with water.
