Комета навещает Солнце
Today, on August 13, 2015, the world-famous Russian comet of Churyumov-Gerasimenko flies as nearly as possible to the Sun. For this comet such event occurs 1 time in 6 years and 7 months. A rapprochement of a comet with the Sun is called a perihelion. At this moment the comet loses the most part of its material consisting of space gas and dust. Its long tail decreases. After a perihelion Churyumov-Gerasimenko's comet will move away from the Sun and for the whole six years will be gone from our field of vision.
