In 1912 he has for the first time acted with a solo concert in the Small Hall of the Moscow conservatory. A long time Nikolay Ozerov was a soloist of the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre. The repertoire of the singer included 39 parties (Herman "Queen of spades", the Impostor "Boris Godunov" and others).
