В комнате одна кровать (N.c.) [v kòmnate odnà krovat'] - there is one bed in the room.
When you say that there IS something somewhere (or someone has smth.) - use noun in Nominative case.
В этой комнате нет ванны (G.c.) [v èhtoj kòmnate njet vànny] -There is no bath in this room.
When you say that there ISN'T something somewhere(or someone doesn't have smth.) - use noun in Genitive case.
ванны is Genitive case for ванна [vànna] - bath
Answer which case will be G. and which is N.:
1) I have a pen.
2) I don't have a dog.
3) There is an apple in the box.
