В честь Ширвиндта назван астероид (6767) Shirvindt, открытый астрономом Людмилой Карачкиной в Крымской Астрофизической Обсерватории.

In 1956 he graduated from the Theatrical school of Schukin and was accepted in troupe of the Theatre studio of the film actor. Shirvindt is an actor of intellectual humour. His bright comedy talent was shown also in cinema. The role in the movie "She Loves You" became his debut at cinema. In honor of Shirvindt the asteroid (6767) Shirvindt discovered by the astronomer Lyudmila Karachkina in the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory was called.
