К наиболее известным произведениям писателя относится исторический роман-эпопея «Севастопольская страда», посвящённая первой обороне Севастополя в 1854—1855 гг. На протяжении более 40 лет Сергеев-Ценский создавал свой эпический цикл «Преображение России» (1914—1958), включающий двенадцать романов, три повести и два этюда.
On September 30, 1875 Sergeyev-Tsensky Sergey Nikolaevich was born. This is a Russian Soviet writer and a poet. The historical epic novel "Sevastopol Harvest Season", devoted to the first defense of Sevastopol in 1854 — 1855 belongs to the most known works of the writer. For more than 40 years Sergeyev-Tsensky was creating the epic cycle "Transformation of Russia" (1914 — 1958) including twelve novels, three stories and two etudes.
