После выхода стихотворений «Молодая жница», «Пора любви» и «Последний поцелуй» Кольцовым заинтересовался писатель Михаил Салтыков-Щедрин. Он называл главной особенностью этих стихов «жгучее чувство личности». Ранние поэтические опыты Алексея Кольцова представляют подражания стихотворениям Дмитриева, Жуковского, Пушкина.
On October 15, 1809 in Voronezh Koltsov Alexey Vasilyevich was born. This is a Russian poet. The first publications of the young poet were anonymous. After a release of poems "Young Reaper", "It Is Time for Love" and "Last Kiss" the writer Mikhail Saltykov-Shchedrin became interested in Koltsov. He called the main feature of these verses "burning feeling of the personality". Early poetic attempts of Alexey Koltsov represent imitations poems of Dmitriyev, Zhukovsky, Pushkin.
