3 августа 1893 года родился Гаук Александр Васильевич. Это советский дирижёр и композитор. Гаук работал в Ленинградском театре оперы и балета, где он дирижировал в основном балетными спектаклями. Затем он возглавлял симфонический оркестр Ленинградской филармонии, а позже стал первым главным дирижёром Государственного академического симфонического оркестра СССР. Александр Гаук был автором ряда оригинальных сочинений: симфонии, концертов для фортепиано и для арфы с оркестром, фортепианных и камерных произведений.
On August 3, 1893 Gauck Alexander Vasilyevich was born. This is a Soviet conductor and a composer. Gauck worked at the Leningrad opera and ballet theater where he conducted generally ballet performances. Then he headed the symphonic orchestra of the Leningrad philharmonic hall, and became the first chief conductor of the State academic symphonic orchestra USSR later. Alexander Gauck was the author of a number of original compositions: symphonies, concertos for a piano and for a harp with an orchestra, piano and chamber works.
