The exercises on the rules' practice. Read and pay attention to the stress and the mark of pronunciation unity:
Не‿зна́ю, не‿е́ду, не‿понима́ю, не‿говорю́, не‿хочу́
Я не‿знаю́, где он живёт. / I don't know where he lives.
Я не‿понима́ю, что он говори́т. / I don't understand what he is speaking about.
Я не‿хочу́, что́бы он уходи́л. / I don't want he goes away.
Он не‿ви́дел, он не‿слы́шал, он не‿чита́л, не‿писа́л, он не‿говори́л, он не‿помога́л, он не‿расска́зывал.
Никогда́ не‿чита́л, никого́ не‿ви́дел, никому́ не‿расска́зывал, никто́ не‿был.
Он никогда́ не‿был в Севасто̀поле. / He has never been to Sevastopol.
Она̀ никогда̀ не ‿была̀ в Москвѐ. / She has never been to Moscow.
Онѝ никогда̀ не‿ были в Петербу̀рге. / They have never been to St. Petersburg.
Она звони́ла мно̀жество раз. / She called over and over again.
К телефо́ну никто́ не‿подходи́л. / But nobody picked up the phone.
The exercises on the phrases with a particle "на" [na]:
На‿метро́, на‿такси́, на‿маши́́не, на‿авто́бусе, на‿тролле́йбусе, на‿ве́чер, на‿ле́то, на‿се́вер, на‿факульте́т.
Я е́зжу на‿рабо́ту на‿метро́. / I ride the subway to work.
Он ѐздит на‿ рабо̀ту на авто̀. / I go to work by car.
Он не пойдѐт на‿ве́чер, он о́чень за́нят сего́дня. / He won't go to the party, he is very busy today.
The exercises on the phrases with the prepositions "до" [do] and "без" [bez]:
дое́хать до‿це́нтра, до‿ча́су, дое́хать до‿ме́тро, до‿дву́х, дое́хать до‿ста́нции, до‿ве́чера, до‿пяти́, под‿Москво́йдо‿шести́, под‿окно́м, до‿восьми́ , под‿столо́м
Дое́хать до‿це́нтра мо́жно на‿ме́тро. / You can reach the center taking the subway.
Врач принима́ет с‿дѐвяти до‿дву́х. / A doctor see patients from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m.
И дня не пройдѐт без‿де́ла. / No day goes by without any work.
Он не‿лю́бит сиде́ть без‿де́ла. / He doesn't like to sit idly.
Ни дня не сижу̀ без‿кни́г. / I don't spend my day without reading a book.
Под‿Москво́й мно́го лесо́в. / There a lot of woods near Moscow.
Жить не могу̀ без‿газе́т / I can't live without newspapers.
It is necessary to mark out the combination rule of a noun + adjective:
The inflexions [-ые, -ие] / [-yye, -iye] are pronounced like [ыи] – [yi], [ии] – [ii] in the nominative case, plural number of adjectives and participles. The adjectives of female and neuter gender with [-ая, -ое] / [-aya, oye] are pronounced identically: северная исеверное [severnaya, severnoye] like [ъi̯ъ].
Pay special attention to the pronunciation of the inflexions of these word-combinations.
