Морская свинка
Морская свинка - вид грызунов, который используется как домашнее животное. Изначально морские свинки были одомашнены в 5 тысячелетии до н. э. племенами Анд Южной Америки для употребления в пищу. В эпоху Великих географических открытий испанские, голландские и английские торговцы привозили свинок в Европу, где они вскоре стали популярными домашними животными в домах правителей и богатых людей (включая английскую королеву Елизавету I).
