She performed pieces of music in genres: opera, Russian national songs, Gipsy romances. Fatma Mukhtarova worked in the Opera theater of Zimin. In this theater she acted as Shalyapin's partner in the opera "Boris Godunov", and also performed a part of Carmen which was her the brightest role.
