Rules of using numerals for dates

Let’s have a look at the examples of using numerals for dates.
Date (day and month) – ordinal number is used in the neuter gender:

Present tense

01.08 Первое августа [Pérvaye ávgusta] – The first of August
25.01 Двадцать пятое января [Dvátsat′ pyátaye yanvaryá] – The twenty-fifth of January.
14.06 Четырнадцатое июня [Chitýrnatsataye iyúnya.] – The fourteenth of June.

Past and future tenses

WHEN?
01.08 Первого августа [Pérvava ávgusta] – On the first of August
25.01 Двадцать пятого января [Dvátsat′ pyátava yanvaryá] – On the twenty-fifth of January.
14.06 Четырнадцатого июня [Chitýrnatsatava iyúnya.] – On the fourteenth of June.

Year – there are two versions of using numeral. A complete version – pronunciation of every digit of the year. A light (colloquial) version – pronunciation of two digits of the year. Numeral is used in the masculine gender in a complete and light versions both:

1999 (year)
A complete version: Тысяча девятьсот девяноста девятый год [Týsicha divitsót divinósta divyátyj got] – Nineteen ninety nine.
A light version (when all people understand the contest of this conversation): Девяноста девятый[Divinósta divyátyj] – Ninety nine.

2013 (год)
A complete version: Две тысячи тринадцатый год [Dve týsyachi trinátsatyj got.] – Twenty thirteen.
A light version (when all people understand the contest of this conversation): Тринадцатый [Trinátsatyj] – The thirteenth.
