В середине XVIII века крепость была разрушена. Однако ворота и небольшой фрагмент крепости уцелели. Сегодня это одна из достопримечательностей города, открытая для посещения туристами.
Azov Fortress is a fortification construction which is located in the historic center of the city of Azov in the Rostov region (Russia). Fortress was based by Turks in 1475. In the middle of the 18th century fortress was destroyed. However gate and a small fragment of fortress remained. Today it is one of city sights open for visit by tourists.
