The difference in the use of words ЕЩЁ and БОЛЬШЕ

In Russian, there are the words «ЕЩЁ» and «БОЛЬШЕ», the correct use of which causes confusion. Let's look at examples of their differences.

«ЕЩЁ» is used in affirmative and interrogative sentences. This word is suitable for expressing repetition of actions:

Мы решили ещё выпить чаю. – [My rishíli yeshchyó výpit′ cháyu.] – We decided to drink some more tea.

-Ты хочешь сходить со мной ещё раз в кино на премьеру этого фильма? – [Ty khóchish skhadít′ sa mnoj yeshchyó ras f kinó na primyéru étava fíl′ma?] – Do you want to go to the cinema with me again at the premiere of this movie?

-Да, можно посмотреть ещё раз этот фильм. Он мне понравился. – [Da, mózhna pasmatrét′ yeshchyó ras état fíl′m. On mne panrávilsya.] – Yes, it’s possible to watch again this movie. I liked it.

«БОЛЬШЕ» is used in interrogative and negative sentences. This word is suitable for expressions in which won’t be repeated actions? And no desire to do anything:

Я больше не пойду в поход. Ночной сон в лесу с летающими вокруг комарами не для меня. – [Ya ból′shi ni pajdú f pakhót. Nachnój son v lisú s litáyushchimi kamarámi ni dlya minyá.] – I won’t go camping anymore. It’s not for me a night sleep in the forest with flying around mosquitoes.

-Ты больше не хочешь делать эту стрижку? – [Ty ból′shi ni khóchish délat′ étu strízhku?] – Don’t you want to do this hairstyle anymore?

-Да, верно. Мне хочется изменений в моём образе. – [Da, vérna. Mne khóchitsa izminénij v mayóm óbrazi.] – Yes, that’s right. I’d like changes in my image.

P.S.: Sometimes in literary and colloquial speech, you can find the phrase «ЕЩЁ БОЛЬШЕ». It usually serves to strengthen the meaning of the word «ЕЩЁ»:
