Koporsky fortress is a monument of the Russian medieval defensive architecture It is situated in the southwest of the Leningrad region. The fortress is located in 12 km to the South from the Gulf of Finland and occupies the small platform of the high rocky cape. Fortress in Koporye was built in 1237. Fortress is open for visit by tourists from 10:00 till 18:00.
